About Us

Sprawl Studios is a residential studio space based on the hill of Howth. The studios were established in Aug 2006 by Kelly O'Connor & Michael Murphy to meet a need for spaces where artists could live and work. Sprawl aims to encourage devlopment of artistic practice and to exhibit the artist's work at the space every 3-6 months. There are currently five Irish and International Artists living and working there. It holds the studios of Aida Bangoura, Martina Coyle, Mary Theresa Keown, Sarah Morshead, Kelly O'Connor and Desmond Shortt.
